Mystery ASUS tablet has Bluetooth 4.0 LE certified, could be Nexus 7 successor


The ASUS-made Google Nexus 7 proved to be one of Google’s most successful ventures with Android to date, and the company surely hopes to increase its share of the tablet market with the Nexus 7’s successor which is rumoured to arrive later this year.

The original Nexus 7 proved to be more than Apple could handle, taking away some of the iPad maker’s lead in the tablet market and giving it to Android. The move to create a low priced and full featured tablet proved to pay off for ASUS as well. The next Nexus 7 has been rumoured to be made by ASUS once again, following the praise the first received. A mysterious Asus tablet has received a certification for Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, and that tablet may very well be the Nexus 7 2. The tablet codenamed ‘K008’ is an upcoming Asus 7-inch tablet.
