Fommy Product Review:
Looks and Feel: Like one of Body Glove's other wired headset designs, this one features a quite odd layout. Instead of simply having something that wraps around your ear or simply fits inside it completely, this one is somewhere between the two. You attach one part of it to the top of your ear and then you put the other part, attached via a short cable inside your ear; giving it quite an innovative design. Unfortunately, I think the reason this design isn't popular is for a reason, overall I found it quite uncomfortable and hard to get used to, especially with the earbuds strange conical design; what people find comfortable though really varies from person to person so you may find it very comfortable on the other hand. I will give credit where credit is due though, it is quite lightweight, which is a big plus.
Features: Incoming audio quality was fantastic, outgoing was a bit of a different story. The headset really lacks any kind of microphone facing towards your mouth, which does hinder audio quality quite a bit typically, but the noise cancellation features proved to make this one work fairly well despite that typically large drawback. Otherwise, aside from strange design it's a pretty average headset with the typical controls along the cable (answer/end and voice commands), with one exception: a tangle resistant cord. Well, I have a hard time putting it into words, but basically the cable is covered in a strange scaly material that makes it exceptionally hard to tie in knots, it just slips around a lot; on the downside it may make certain storage mediums a bit difficult, but it is quite handy.
Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a unique design in an inexpensive wired headset with great audio quality, this Body Glove Earcover Headset is a great choice. To boot, the tangle resistant cord is just cool.
