The RIM (OEM) BlackBerry Leather Desktop stand is a great little tool that is great for anyone on the go who finds themselves looking for a way to use their BlackBerry with no hands. This collapsible "cradle" is made of one solid piece of leather with magnets built in. Assembly is a snap, you simply make an arc with the design and the magnets hold it in place, in the center is a convenient slot to house your BlackBerry. It's great for speakerphone calls, watching video or listening to music.

Being just leather, there is no real charging solution, but it is open on the sides, so you're free to plug in your regular charger as you would normally. The only significant downside is that because it's so light, it's quite easy to move around, which doesn't make it good for typing like many (heavier) cradles. A related problem is that the stand doesn't grip the phone at all, so it can slide around quite a bit.

That aside, the leather is also quite durable, and should shrug off being thrown around in bags, briefcases and cars. Of course, the big benefit is that it does collapse again when you want it to, giving it a very slim profile at only about a quarter of an inch thick.

This is a great little accessory for anyone who is on the go a lot but still likes to enjoy their BlackBerry to it's fullest.
